New Year’s Eve 2004, I woke up and found a lump under my arm and at that moment I knew my life had changed forever. At the time I had three children 4 and under, the youngest being 3 months old. My husband was working 60 hours a week so I could be a stay at home mom and this health crisis put a strain on our situation. Luckily, we made it through 2 bouts of breast cancer in 4 years and are the stronger for it.
